Elaboramos carteles con las frases y rutinas  más usadas en las áreas bilingües.  Las pondremos en un lugar visible del aula para que nos sirvan de apoyo  en nuestra comunicación diaria en L2

To celebrate the day of the book, from the subjects included in the bilingual project, we have worked the story  called "The tiny seed" by Eric Carl. 

First we have told the story and  have worked the vocabulary from the English subject. 

Then, through the Arts&Crafts subject ,we have decorated the door of our library with an image and a phrase related to the history of "The little seed".

 Participated students at all levels.

STORY

First, students  painted papers with green, yellow, and red paint.

Next, the students  prepared the pieces for their collages.

 Last step! They  pasted  the flowers, butterflies, birds, stems, grass ... on

background paper to resemble the scene of The Tiny Seed.

  VOCABULARY ACTIVITIES

Para celebrar el día del libro, desde las asignaturas incluidas en el proyecto bilingüe , hemos trabajado la historia de Eric Carl,  titulada "The tiny seed"  .

Iniciamos la actividad con un cuenta cuentos  y a continuación trabajamos el vocabulario  desde el área de Inglés.

Posteriormente,  a través  el área de artística  hemos realizado manualidades y  un póster para decorar  la puerta de nuestra biblioteca con una frase de animación a la lectura relacionada con la historia de la pequeña semilla "The tiny seed".

En la decoración han participado los alumnos y alumnas de todos los niveles.

THE VERY HUNGRY CATERPILLAR

Today, 23rd April,  we celebrate the day of the book in our school.

The children of the 3rd and 4th Levels have told the story  “ The Very Hungry Caterpillar “.

A small caterpillar emerges from an egg and begins eating everything in sight. Finally, it is no longer hungry and no longer small. The big, fat caterpillar builds a cocoon (the cocoon is really the pupa or chrysalis) around himself and finally emerges as a beautiful butterfly.
       

We watched the story on youtube (click here ), and we worked on vocabulary, pronunciation and dramatization.

After, we made the food that our caterpillar eats and the days of the week, using cardboard, and we used play dough to make the caterpillar.

We used all of this to represent our story.

In addition, the First and Second Levels have done many activities with the characters of the story, in the Arts & Crafts Subject,  and they have worked on all of the vocabulary with the English teacher.

Hoy , 23 de abril, hemos celebrado el día del libro en nuestra escuela.
Los alumnos y alumnas de Tercer y Cuarto curso  nos han contado , en inglés, el cuento titulado "The very hungry caterpillar (La pequeña oruga glotona)".

Este cuento relata la historia de una pequeña oruga que nace de un huevo y comienza a comer todo lo que está a la vista. Finalmente, ya no tiene hambre y ya no es pequeña. La oruga grande y gruesa ,construye un capullo (el capullo es realmente la crisálida o crisálida) a su alrededor y finalmente emerge como una hermosa mariposa.

Para representar el cuento los alumnos del Sengundo Ciclo , primero han escuchado la historia ( en inglés) y han trabajado el vocabulario, su pronunciación en inglés y la dramatización. Además han elaborado los diferentes alimentos y los días de la semana con cartulinas de colores y  una oruga de plastilina  que utilizaremos durante la representación.

Además  de ésto, el alumnado de Primero y Segundo han realizado diferentes actividades en el área de Educación artística con los personajes de la historia y han trabajado todo el vocabulario de la historia con la maestra de Inglés.
