Welcome back!!

We hope you had enjoying a wonderful summer. We also hope you are  recharged and ready to start a new school year. We are so delighted that
 you are part of our amazing school.

We know we will make this school year one of growth and achievement for all children.

OUR SYSTEMS

With this activity I expect the students to identify and locate the major organs involved in vital bodily functions in the digestive system, excretory system, respiratory system and nervous system.


The steps to make the human body systems project have been:

First step: make the silhouette on white paper and cut it out.

Second step: coloring with chalk

Third step: using the Science book to draw and paste in its corresponding place each of the organs and its name in English.

 And this is the end result!

        Con esta actividad espero que los estudiantes identifiquen y localicen los órganos principales involucrados en las funciones corporales vitales en el sistema digestivo, sistema excretor, sistema respiratorio y sistema nervioso.

Los pasos que hemos seguido para realizar cada uno de los aparatos del cuerpo  han sido:

Primer paso: realizar la silueta de un compañero del equipo en papel continuo de color blanco  y recortarla.
Segundo paso. dar color usando una tiza rosa , naranja...
Tercer paso: dibujar y pegar los órganos de cada uno de los aparatos y completarlos con su correspondiente nombre en inglés.

MATTER . PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL CHANGES

We work with interactive notebooks, an innovative methodology that facilitates the acquisition of new concepts and the organization of ideas. 

With this interactive activity, students identify the differences between the physical and chemical changes in the matter.

Trabajamos  con cuadernos interactivos, una metodología innovadora que facilita la adquisión de  nuevos conceptos y la organización las ideas.

Con esta actividad interactiva los alumnos han aprendido a diferenciar los cambios físicos y químicos en la materia.

ECOSYSTEM SCIENCE PROJECTS

 

  An ecosystem is a community of living organisms in conjunction with the nonliving components of their environment, interacting as a system.

One of the best ways for kids to learn about these key elements of ecosystem is through building  their own ecosystem.

They  can choose between a terrestrial or an  aquatic  ecosystem  and their model ecosystem must  include several biotic and abiotic elements and demonstrate the interactions between the biotic and abiotic elements . 

They  must show food web and they must include producers , primary consumers,  secondary consumers , tertiary consumers and decomposers. 

 They must be realistic feeding relationships!

Finally, they must explain their projects and evaluate the projects of their classmates.

Un ecosistema es una comunidad de seres vivos e inertes  que interactúan en el mismo ambiente. Puede ser muy grande o muy pequeño. 

Una de las mejores maneras para que los niños aprendan sobre estos elementos clave del ecosistema es a través de la construcción de su propio ecosistema.

 Pueden elegir entre un ecosistema terrestre o acuático y su ecosistema  debe incluir varios elementos bióticos y abióticos y demostrar las interacciones entre los elementos bióticos y abióticos. 

Deben mostrar una red alimentaria y deben incluir productores, un consumidores primarios, consumidores secundarios,  consumidores terciarios y descomponedores. ¡Deben ser relaciones de alimentación realistas!

Al finalizar sus proyectos deberán explicarlos en clase así como evaluar los proyectos de sus compañeros atendiendo a unos items que previamente se les han facilitado.
